We are a Charity providing high quality social care for people who live at home with care needs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We support individuals to live independently at home and provide breaks to carers in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Dursley, Cirencester, North Cotswolds areas. We offer the following services:-

• Day Clubs (Moreton-in-Marsh/Cheltenham/Cirencester) Our Azalea Clubs allow “loved ones” to meet friends and enjoy doing new or favourite things in the company of others. We encourage participants to contribute to their day, by telling us the activities and entertainment they would like while they are there. A home cooked lunch is provided with refreshments morning and afternoon.

• Out and About Services – this is a community based activity. People are able to choose from a variety of activities to undertake with others, i.e, Theatre, going for a meal, going for a walk, etc. Transport is provided. We have our own wheelchair accessible minibus for this service.

• The 1-1 service, Family Carers have a break from caring while we take over the caring responsibility of their “loved one” for a couple of hours either at home or taking them out. Staff and clients enjoy the longer visits. You will have an opportunity to build professional relationships with families, no rushing off to the next client.

Care Support Workers - Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Tewkesbury & Cotswolds

We specialise in longer care visits, enjoyed by clients and staff

Various hours and work patterns available from 15 hours per week – fulltime

NVQ/QCF 2 qualified £8.38 plus enhancements for unsociable hours

We are especially looking for people who can work evenings/weekends or bank staff

No experience necessary as we will give full training and Induction

We are a CQC registered Charity delivering domiciliary care, but we are not a regular care agency as in addition to personal care calls we also visit clients for longer periods of time to assist them and provide companionship or allow a family carer to take a break. Staff and clients enjoy longer visits providing opportunities to build professional relationships. No rushing off to the next client.

You need to be a car driver and have a vehicle to enable you to deliver care in the area, and in return you will receive a generous payment for travel time and mileage.

You will work with a person centred approach, providing compassionate and dignified care supporting client’s in their own home with care tasks or taking them out on a trip, such as shopping or to the garden centre or any other places that they may wish to spend time..

Team Leader - Azalea Club 37 hours per week - £19, 624

 

Due to continued expansion we are looking for a Team Leader to join our Azalea Day Club team. Our day club services operate Monday to Friday in various locations across the county already and provide stimulating activities,  in a caring manner, to people with a range of conditions. In order to expand this service into new areas within the county we are looking for a dynamic and energetic person who is able to lead a team and encourage a workplace culture based on respect and dignity, caring and individualised. As a Team Leader, you will be part of the development of new day clubs. You will be responsible for implementing the support plans and provide a meaningful and enjoyable experience for the people who use the service. You’ll be able to demontrate experience in managing and developing staff alongside leadership abilities and excellent communication skills. You should hold a minimum of a level 3 in Health & Social Care qualification. Senior Support Worker - Cirencester - 37 Hours - £19, 624

 

Due to continued expansion we are looking for a Senior Support Worker to join our Cirencester team. In order to expand the service in this area we are looking for a dynamic and energetic person who is able to lead a team and encourage a workplace culture based on respect and dignity, caring and individualised. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be part of the development of the service. You will be required to source new clients in order to increase our client base. You will undertake reviews of care and will be involved in recruiting and retaining new staff. You will be responsible for implementing the support plans and provide a meaningful and enjoyable experience for the people who use the service. You’ll be able to demontrate experience in managing and developing staff alongside leadership abilities and excellent communication skills. Due to continued expansion we are looking for six Support Workers to join our Azalea Day Club team. Our day club services operate Monday to Friday in various locations across the county and provides stimulating activities, in a caring manner, to people with a range of conditions. If you are a caring person who enjoys working closely within a team and likes to have fun then we would love to hear from you. The positions are full time, permanent posts. Previous experience of working within a care sector is preferred although not essential but you are required to hold a full driving licence and have your own transport.
