We are a Charity providing high quality social care for people who live at home with care needs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We support individuals to live independently at home and provide breaks to carers in Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Dursley, Cirencester, North Cotswolds areas. We offer the following services:-

• Day Clubs (Moreton-in-Marsh/Cheltenham/Cirencester) Our Azalea Clubs allow “loved ones” to meet friends and enjoy doing new or favourite things in the company of others. We encourage participants to contribute to their day, by telling us the activities and entertainment they would like while they are there. A home cooked lunch is provided with refreshments morning and afternoon.

• Out and About Services – this is a community based activity. People are able to choose from a variety of activities to undertake with others, i.e, Theatre, going for a meal, going for a walk, etc. Transport is provided. We have our own wheelchair accessible minibus for this service.

• The 1-1 service, Family Carers have a break from caring while we take over the caring responsibility of their “loved one” for a couple of hours either at home or taking them out. Staff and clients enjoy the longer visits. You will have an opportunity to build professional relationships with families, no rushing off to the next client.

Care Support Workers - Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stroud, Tewkesbury & Cotswolds

Various hours and work patterns available from 15 hours per week – fulltime

NVQ/QCF 2 qualified £8.38 plus enhancements for unsociable hours

We are especially looking for people who can work evenings/weekends or bank staff

No experience necessary as we will give full training and Induction

We are a CQC registered Charity delivering domiciliary care, but we are not a regular care agency as in addition to personal care calls we also visit clients for longer periods of time to assist them and provide companionship or allow a family carer to take a break. Staff and clients enjoy longer visits providing opportunities to build professional relationships. No rushing off to the next client.

You need to be a car driver and have a vehicle to enable you to deliver care in the area, and in return you will receive a generous payment for travel time and mileage.

You will work with a person centred approach, providing compassionate and dignified care supporting client’s in their own home with care tasks or taking them out on a trip, such as shopping or to the garden centre or any other places that they may wish to spend time..

Community Activities Support Worker

We currently have vacancies for Support Workers at our Out & About service.  The role involves supporting small groups of adults with varying illnesses and disabilities out for social activities in the community such as the cinema, theatre, gardens and restaurants. Staff are required to work flexibly and hours will include evening and weekend work. It is desirable for Care Support worker to hold a QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care and must hold a driving license with access to their own car.  Vacancies are for 20 hours per week with potential for extra hours.  The rate of pay is £9.00 per hour.   To find out more call us on 01452 302542 Ext 3
